Money isn’t EVERYTHING, Jett!

Wake up kids, it’s October and that means the Dallas Art District is celebrating Art in October, which is the biggest art event in Dallas. This week you can catch three monster stars of their own time unite in one movie for an epic screening at the Annette Strauss Square for a viewing of the 1956 classic Giant.

If you love classic films or have a need for a little Elizabeth Taylor, James Dean, and Rock Hudson, this is the movie for you. Giant was one of the last three films that James Dean would film as a leading actor, and he died before Giant was released. See him in this epic Western drama romance about a Texas Rancher on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 7:30pm outside the AT&T Performing Arts Center in the Annette Strauss Square. This event is free and seating is on the grass so be sure to bring blankets and chairs! Also, don’t forget you can take the DART rail down to the Arts District and ride for free with your UTD DART pass. While you are down in the Arts District, be sure to enjoy the creative eats at the food trucks that are scattered throughout the area.
